Our MissionFish

Did you know? Ewaste is piling up in our landfills at an alarming rate.  This should be a huge concern to every one of us.  But good news!  You’ll be glad to know we’ve found a way to help ease the strain on our landfills by turning Ewaste trash into cash for our organization.  With the aid of RecycleFirst we are now starting our inkjet, laser cartridge and cell phone recycling programs! These programs are FREE to us and very simple to implement.  But our recycling programs won’t work without your support. So, here’s what you can do to help us!  Simply donate your empty printer cartridges and old cell phones to Child Seek Network and we’ll take it from there! We will recycle the cartridges and cell phones through RecycleFirst to earn funds to continue our efforts to help families with missing loved ones.

Can I participate? Anyone can join in. If you are a individual, business or corporation you can help The Child Seek Network raise funds.
All funds go to supporting our efforts to help families with missing loved ones.  Funds pay for our web site, server, fliers, buttons, programs, literature, events and support efforts for searchers.

How does it work? There is no cost to you for participation in our ecycle program.
All supplies and postage are provided free by recyclefirst. Child Seek Network will receive commissions for each item you ecycle when you return them to recycle first in the postage paid boxes and envelopes.

Interesting Facts

Did you know that over 400 million cartridges were thrown away last year alone?

The average consumer will use over 5 cartridges per year and over 80% of these people will throw them in the trash. Think about 500,000 $1 bills being incinerated daily

Over 400 inkjet cartridges are consumed yearly in an industrial application.

A
new laser cartridge uses an average 3 quarts of oil to produce and adds 2.5 pounds of industrial grade plastic to the waste stream.

As trash, inkjet and laser cartridges will be around for at least ten centuries. One thousand years is a long time. Less than 50% of the millions of laser cartridges produced are recycled.

We all need to do our part to conserve natural resources and protect our air and water from harmful pollutants
